Bobby and Annette are mellogetic. It’s a term I’ve coined in response to their remarkable way of simultaneously being mellow and energetic. It’s hard to describe but I think once you see their film you’ll somehow know what I’m talking about. When we first met, we all knew it was a perfect match from the very beginning.
They got married on Halloween and did it properly: they paid homage to the holiday, masquerade style, but still clearly defined the day as a wedding, first and foremost. It was very tastefully executed. Baywood Greens, which we’ve shot at many times and are on their preferred vendor list, was fantastic (of course), and provided a gorgeous setting for the last outdoor wedding of the year. The weather was beautiful and so were they. Also, I looked pretty wonderful myself. “Let me clear my throat! Ah-hem!”
I had a trip to Florida planned just 2 days after this wedding, where I planned to photograph a lot of wildlife, so I had with me the Canon 500mm f/4.0 IS lens… a $9000 monster that got me up close and personal for a few images. There’s a shot of me using it from the balcony in the gallery below.
Back to the wedding. Victoria and I captured both photography and cinema for their big day. You can check out their Cinema Highlight film here: https://vimeo.com/148650465. Here are some highlights of our day together:
Check out Baywood at www.BaywoodGreens.com and ask for Reinie (or Taylor, or Lindsay… honestly everyone I’ve worked with there is incredible).
