Lauren + Will and I connected the moment we met. They live just a few minutes from my Greenville studio, and we did our engagement session at a hidden gem of a location that I’d never been before, but I’ve since recommended to many of my clients. They were affectionate and relaxed and we laughed and had a ton of fun. They printed an engagement book for guests to sign at the wedding.
Their wedding was at the Chateau Bu-De Winery + Vineyard in Chesapeake City, Maryland. Despite drizzly weather, it was gorgeous: 440 acres of land with a Breaking-Bad quality stainless-steel-everything wine lab, and acres of vines leading right down to the bay. It was one of the first weddings ever hosted at this venue. We had the ceremony under the shelter of the massive tent, with a view of the vineyard right there behind them. I met the proprietor, Brenda, and we chatted about her passion for wine since a young age. It was really neat to see all the history and passion come together from so many angles to make this wedding possible.
Check out their Cinema Highlight film, which is among the first we’ve made that features audio in addition to the music: https://vimeo.com/194095718
